I watched first 10 minutes before having to go to bed, it's waiting on the Genie for tonight... So far I like.
'NCIS: Hawai'i' Pilot Fan Review: Mixed response as fans torn between good and poor
While 'NCIS' ardents were disappointed with the pilot, a portion of the fans felt the show was off to a great start
I'm not sold. It seems the CBS mixmaster just tried the following elements:
- Let's turn Gibbs into a female and give her a "single mom" family life, but otherwise the same sort of unrealistic leadership style.
- Let's have the stock characters like the computer geek, the lab rat, etc. have different personality quirks from the other shows' stock characters.
- Let's show lots of Hawaii scenery, a trick that goes back to the invention of color TV.
- Let's have a homosexual character.
- Let's rip off some of the "living on Hawaii, but somehow doesn't want to" form H-50.
- Let's have an unrealistic office location and have a lot of stuff go on in a bar, just like in NO.
They are going to have to do some serious character development to sell me on this. None of the characters seem interesting.

Can't argue with the negatives about this show so far, but I found it at least entertaining but definitely not 'must see TV'!
I Started when LL came on board ... Now that I know the people involved, its leaving ...
Typical of me watching a show.
He helped ruin it, IMO. He literally and figuratively just "hovered" throughout the season.
I watched the "cross-over" episodes as well as the first few episodes... Never got into LA, or New Orleans, did watch Sydney and still watching original.
I have watched all of them except Sydney ....
I like the Original Best and LA was good (the people on it were great)
New Orleans was ok/good
Hawaii, I haven't seen all that much, started watching this year when I saw that LL was on it.
Disappointed that I got started with it this year and its now gone.
