L L Cool J needs to lose weight. He's starting to look like Steven Segal in his later years when he started wearing black to cover up his tummy.
Honestly don't have high hopes for this one. Don't particularly care for Scott Caan.
Well lets see LL Cool J has been cancelled on NCIS L.A. and then went to NCIS Hawaii and they got cancelled, and now he will be on NCIS New York? How long before they cancel that too? He seems to be bad luck.
Scott Caan was ok on Hawaii Five-0, but liked the dynamic between him and his costar Alex O'Loughlin on the show. He wasn't that great in the Fox show Alert: Missing Persons Unit he did for a couple of years. He seems to keep playing the same character with different names. One trick acting.

I'd say those shows could have been gone without LL just as well ...
LL probably was the reason Hawaii stayed on the last few years.
LA should Still be on, but 13-14 years is more than enough for most shows ...
I might have been more interested in a show where he was searching for Hetty. Don't think there was ever a conclusion for her.
There was not, however, there MAY be something in the future ... I have seen Daniela Ruah talk about that on a NCIS Podcast ... nothing is confirmed or in the works yet, but has been talked about Eric Christian Olsen may have been the one, I don't remember, seeing they are closely intertwined ...
He did say on that one NCIS show he co-starred in last season that he might go looking for Hetty.

I'd say they Hoped that he would Save the show, not kill it.
They never should have ended LA ....

The rest as well, as far as I'm concerned they shouldn't have gone off, but they took it down to help Hawaii.

CBS/Paramont do a lot of killing shows before they should, any of the other networks would still have them.

They took LA down to help Hawaii, they dumped Hawaii for Sydney ...
That they should do is take the best of LA (which would be all of them
) and see if they can appear in NY occasionally, If Kensi would come on NY, it would survive !

To me he will always be the guy who mooned people from the vehicle in Varsity Blues. He really "cracked" me up in that one.
I except rhar Sam will bring NY down, like he did on Hawaii.
Then why did they renew it for Season 3. The decision came later in the season.
