Ok I need antenna info I have 7 local HD channels. UHF and VHF. They are either straight north or south of me so I need an omni directional antenna? I can get the antenna about 25ft up. And most stations are 25-35miles out. Thanks for your help and info!!!!

Omnidirectional antennas are not a good choice for DTV. If they work for you, you'd be very lucky. WWMT-DT on channel 2 will be tricky without antenna gain.

Try a smaller all-channel Winegard such as the HD7078P. Keep it aimed at 170 degrees unless you want to watch PBS.

If you want a no-rotator installation you will need three antennas, (two HD7080P's and one PR-4400) a UHF/VHF splitter and three Channel Master Jointennas. Install the 70870p's about 5' apart on the same mast. Aim the higher 7080P at 170, the lower one at 259, split the lower 7080P and add that to the first antenna with Jointennas for channels 11 and 24. Aim the PR-4400 at 331 degrees and mount it between the two all-channel antennas. Use a channel 39 Jointenna on the PR-4400. With this you will be able to zap through the channels very easily. Your VCR/DVR will work without any hassles.
