Need DIRT help

Having receiver troubles ... was sent a new receiver last Friday, after 6 days this receiver is doing the same thing. Powering itself off. The old one wouldn't come back on, this one just keeps resetting itself. The new one was refurbished, 6 days?? Come on dish.

Sounds like a bad LNBF or switch, or water or something in coax. Anyway could be something shorting out the receiver causing it to reset. Un-hook the coax from the back and see if it keeps rebooting. Either way though sounds like you need a tech sent out.

It will stay on for 5 minutes, then an hour, then 10 minutes, then 5. I know this because I was recording the Tigers game, which I missed a lot of. Excellent!!
