Need help w/ a problem

I had an ice storm where the power went out all day. Now it's back on and all my receivers work fine expect for my dvr. It says the recorder is unable to acquire information from the satellite. When I go and try to re-acquire the information nothing happens. It just stays on 0% complete. Is there anything I can do? I can't check the dish because its on my roof too high up and there is still a lot of ice. Should I call DirecTV? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

unplug it and and plug it back in and see whta happens
