Need Help with Dish 500 Install

My father in law moved in to a new home and he has Direct Tv now but did have Dish network he gave me the Sat and receivers.

I have everything set up right but every time i get to Sat 110 i get wrong sat echo star. why is this happening.????

is there a detailed install guide around that i can look at for the 2 Dish 500 Pro

There is usually a whole section in the receiver manual. What type lnb's and switches are you using?

Ahhh i gave in and just signed a contract with Dish Network. So they will install a new Dish. on well Thanks for the help that ti did get.. I am installing a K Band here soon.

Question about that. Can i use my old Dish 500 with a K Band LNB to get it i have a University of Kansas Dish and i do not want to get rid of it.... lol
