I'm installing a slimline at9 dish and am using an AccuTrac 22 Pro meter. I peaked the 101 and peaked the 119. I am getting everything except the local HD for Fox, ABC, and NBC. I receive HD CBS just fine. Could this be the tilt by any chance? My reading on the meter is off the chart, so I'm pretty much spit balling at this point. Any info and comments would be greatly appreciated. (FYI - my local market is Greensboro, NC in case that helps). Thanks!

More Info

I rechecked my alignment and did the setup again and everything passes except the 99 (network 10), 103 (network 14), and the 103 (network 15) birds. Any ideas?

do you know what sat your hd locals are on? this could be a spot beam you are picking up, hence the low or no reading. my locals are on 103 and i get nothing from sat 99!!!

just a thought!

Our local HD's are on the 99 sats. One of the 99 sats passes but the other fails. I am guessing this is why we can get local CBS in HD but not NBC, ABC, or FOX. Could something in the LNB be broken that would allow allow one 99 bird to pass, but the other to fail?

First, there is only one sat at 99 and one at 103. If you are using an H20, it may not recognize the 99 sat. There is a known problem with that. If there is no spotbeam in your area on the 103 sat, it won't show anything there, either. Why it won't show all of the locals is another matter. Maybe the dish isn't peaked properly. Have you checked the transponder levels on 99 and 103?

Satellite 99 (network 10) shows all the transponders as n/a
Satellite 99 (network 11) shows all the transponders as n/a
Satellite 103 (network14) shows t1 as 0, t2 as 82, t3 as 14, t4 as 0, t5 as 0, t6 as 80 and the rest as n/a
Satellite 103 (network 15) shows all transponders as n/a
I do have an H20-600
Satellite 101 has a signal strength of 80, Sat 119 has a strength of 86, Sat 110 has a strength of 81, Sat 99 (nt10) shows strength of 0, Sat 99 (nt11) shows strength of 0, Sat 103 (nt14) shows strength of 0, Sat 103 (nt15) shows strength of 0.
However in the system test, everything passes except for 99 (nt10), 103 (nt14), 103 (nt15). It's just odd to me that I'm getting local CBS HD, but not NBC, ABC, or FOX. All other channels HD and SD come in fine. Sorry for all the info, I was trying to tell you everything you might need to know. Thanks, Todd

Your levels do seem low, even though the H20's show lower levels than other receivers. Again, I suspect your dish isn't peaked properly. Why only one local is coming in is a mystery, though.

I believe that your locals are on 103 and not 99. Do as raoul5788 said and try to repeak the dish. If you follow the directions to the "T" you shouldn't have a problem. I set up a AT-9 a couple of weeks ago without a meter and it has been rock solid. Not that hard, just have patience.

I have to go out of town for a week, but I'll try to peak it again when I return. Maybe it will just magically work when I return. Wishful thinking never hurt anyone. Thanks for all the replys. Todd
