Hello my cable brothers and (sisters) I dont have cable, I have Directv. But my parents have a comcast DVR and would like to transfer a show to tape, what outputs do I connect to??. Thanks!

I would guess that you plug the video and audio out from the box to a VCR, probably would have to use RCA cables, then from the VCR to the TV. I don't know if it will work though.

It does work fine - with either a VCR or a recordable DVD. You need to play the recorded show on the DVR the full time, though; you can't switch to live channel.
