I finally upgraded my parent's 10 year old reciever with a 211. The installer put up a dish 1000 and for some reason moved my 61.5 i used for int'l to 148...While i figure that part out, here's my problem:
The PQ on their panasonic 60U plasma was good for SD channels from analog comcast and svideo from the dish reciever (albeit stretched).
On the 211 via component input, the SD channels are 4:3, but look visibly much worse! ( HD looks great )
Is this a problem with settings between the TV and the 211? Are the two devices stepping on each other and degrading the signal by over-converting things?
