New Beta Software Coming

It was just announced on the Retailer Chat that the 922 would be getting new beta software in the next few days.

Leslie reminded folks that the 922 does not yet go into standby to download the software like all other Dish receivers do. So when your not using your 922 put it in standby so that it can grab the new software when its available.

The new software once available will allow you to run the receiver in dual mode (meaning two TV's)

And you will be able to unlink remotes easily through the sysinfo screen.

Did anyone get the new software yet?

I was playing with my 922 last night and found a number of bugs which were not listed in Leslie's document on the retailer website and am holding off sending them as I want to see if the new pending software fixes them first.

Don't hold your report - if it fixed, no big deal; if not - they will create a bug report.
