New channel and HD

Got MeTV here in the LA market on local station KVME 20 in MPEG-2 SD, but not 24/7.

Enjoy it, though since MeTV programming is in widescreen SD, DIRECTV naturally squeezes it into a 4:3 frame for squish-o-vision. So have to annoyingly change the format to stretch the picture back out every time I tune to it.

I live in NY and according to ME TV website it says it’s on Channel 33 but when I turned to that channel it says Channel not available. Does anyone have it now or know when it will come?

If you are talking about WJLP, it's in the NYC dma, but I don't think Directv carries it.

I think DirecTV but could be both and I wish they would add more OTA channels on DirecTV but I don’t see that happening imo
