I am going from regular Digital Dish to HD when I can get the 622. Will I need an installer to do anything when I get this dual/DVR ?

More than likely. You might need a second dish pointed to eithe the 61.5 or 129 satellite and you will need a second line run to the 622 receiver. This other dish might not be needed unless you already have a superdish. Anyway, you will have to pay the $299 upgrade and it includes all neccessary equipment and installation.
