New Hopper with Sling for $199

Dish will only lease two Hoppers. So I have no choice but to purchase the other two. Same situation when I had 722s, lease two and I had to buy two. I have read in this Forum someplace that owning your own you can get out of the 2 year contract thing.
Ahh, Ok, that makes sense of owning one if they will only lease 2.

If I could reduce my fees ($7 per TV) by owning vs leasing the equipment, I would purchase my equipment in a heart beat, but since the fees are the same no matter if you own it or not, none of it makes sense.

Some people just have the pride of ownership. One of the biggest reason people on her buy equipment is to avoid renewing a contract. Purchasing also allows them to install it themselves and you'll see a lot of people on here are very touchy when it comes to their homes and AV equipment.

Let me know if you need any assistance in setting up the third Hopper :) .

I appreciate that! Thanks man!

Thanks...that's why I asked.

I didn't know if you were just being sarcastic or what. It's all good though! I enjoy your posts.

I still can't get over owning one of these things with Sling for $199. I am really glad I switched to Dish!
