I hear the sound of something coming from my new HR20-100s while it is plugged in but powered off. Is that sound I hear the hard drive or a cooling fan? Is this normal?

Thanks,

George

Hello Jimbo.

What is it that genertates the heat on the HR20s when they are powered off. Do you also know the amp rating when they are powered off in standby mode.

Thanks for your reply.

The hard drive will continue to run because it always has a 90 minute buffer to deal with, weather it's on or not.

No idea on amp rating...
