New L4.09 for 501/8/10 SW ?

Has anyone installed latest (4.09) on a 501 /08/10 ?
I'm hesitating because I don't know what or why it is, and whether it is buggy.
Right now my 510 is working fairly well.

No clue on my 508. Will check tonight but I have mine set up to take uploads automatically and it worked fine last night.
