What's the latest word on when the latest iteration of NBC Sports Network will be part of DirecTV?
And then what packages will it be part of?
I thought maybe it would happen for the Winter Olympics. I see it listed as 619, with some additions dashed 619's and typically will list a Big 10 or Big East game that had been previously only available streaming in Peacock.
NBCSN was added to the Comcast and YouTubeTV last fall, but the roll out was quiet since NBC doesn't want people cancelling Peacock, and I think plenty would if they only have it to watch a certain sport league. I had a ton of pals with YouTubeTV and they had no clue it was added to their package until I explained they'd had it for a couple months in reply to them complaining about Peacock (which overall is terrible for watching sports if you're part of the DVR age.)
My fear is they're going to require the Sportspak, which is likely pointless for me to get with the channels I get via my legacy programming package and the always rising RSN tack-on fee (which is becoming less and less valuable with the consolidation/elimination of many of the regional sports networks that existed mostly to show MLB.)
