Call DISH up and ask. That is how I get a lot new offers, along with reading about them here on this site.
I told them I was being solicited by TWC and was looking into directv, I do have internet from them and they offered me $10 off per month for a year.
If you attempt to cancel HBO or SHO thru MyDish, it will offer you half-price on those channels for 6 mos. It may be true for MAX and Starz, as well. But, I do not sub to those, so I could not try it. I did this two days ago.
The same thing was true for BB@H a few weeks ago. But, I don't know if that promo is still active.

I also got max and showtime and starz for 90 days free. I just have to remember to cancel it before they bill me.
The 1/2 price thingy is awesome. I have HBO, Showtime, and BB@H. All 3 are now 1/2 price for 6 months. THANK YOU GUYS!!!!
Not too long ago my bb@home half price had expired. I did a chat and got it 6 months half price again
got hbo, starz, showtime half off from mydish as well, VERY NICE!! had been contemplating cancelling them anyways but ill keep them for a bit longer now

I wish I could remove BB@H... never use it, don't need it. Paying $10/month for something I don't use.
Every time I remove it on the web site, it reappears. I haven't been able to get rid of it.
Nothing, really - just the idea that I can't remove it on the web site, it might be "required." I haven't pursued it, obviously.

I dropped it from my account online with no problems, also downgraded from 250 to 200 with no problems. You must be doing it wrong. Open up a chat window and do it that way.
If you want to remove Blockbuster@home and the website isn't letting you I would be more than happy to get into your account and remove that. Send me a private message with the phone number on the account and I can further assist you.
After you uncheck BB@H on your my programing page. It take you to another page and you must click on Submit to seal the deal. Try it, you will like it.
