New Orleans locals question

I have Dish installed and pull sat signals from 61.5 and 72.7. If I "move'" does anyone know if I can pick up New Orleans, LA., locals as opposed to Jackson, Miss.? just wondering.

The New Orleans HD locals are on 129. You can't get them with your configuarion....

It would also help if you state where you are. Most locals are on spot beams and if you are too far away from the locations you mention, even with the right dish you may not be able to receive them.

I live in Jackson, Miss., and apparently within the New Orleans split beam. Unfoirtubately, based on what I read here, I cannot receive New Orleans locals because they are on 129 sat and I am set up to get 61.5 and 72. Do I have any alternatives, or am I stuck with Jackson locals?

Yes, get yourself a WA dish, THEN call E* & "move" your service - simple as that...

But be sure that you have a view to 110, 119, and 129...

what is a WA dish and how do I install/add to my current setup?

Or just get a dish 500 and aim it at 129. May need a 44 switch. This isn't the most elegant solution.
