I have a IDD S-1 HD sat receiver and I need to know if it will do NTSC .......presently I have only a manual that is Korean .....I found a manual that is German language(no help) so a manual in English would be a great help.....the most important question is wil it do NTSC video ???

Just connect the unit to a TV, see what you get.
Try both HDMI and Composite.

I tried the HDMI and all I get is hash(not knowing how to get into the menu i cannot get viewable video) I will try the composite hook up and report back

If the STB remote has a "FORMAT" key, press and wait 5-20 seconds to see if the TV can sync. Repeat 5 or 6 times to cycle through the formats.

If available, try connecting another TV or a computer monitor. Seems that your current TV only recognizes specific resolutions.

using the composite worked (some what can set thinks up) ...the trick was not going thru my audio/video switcher.....need to tweak a few things but it is working
