New SMart card problems???

I got my 3, 622, 625, 508/510 (not sure which off hand).

The 508/510 was painless.

The other 2 are have been in download program guide for an hour! I reset both and they are back at download program guide..

My VIP622 took forever to download the program guide information, and the receiver never did regain all of the programming. Great job, Dish. You screwed up my receiver with your little smart card "upgrade." I have to switch them out because my receiver isn't authorizing the card I guess. Good stuff, I tell you.

Two 622s and a 508 just yesterday with 0 problems.

i pulled the cards from the 625 and 622 and put it back in. The 625 took about 5-10 minutes and worked the 2nd time.

The 622.. well it redid its thing, found the programming guide download then came up with an error - smart card inserted.

So pulled the card again and finally on the 3rd try it worked.!

Overall, for waht should have been 10 minutes it was about 2 1/2 hours.

Smart Cards

Two 622s and a 508 just yesterday with 0 problems.

I have a variation of yours - 2 508s and a 622 - also with 0 problems. From inserting the cards to watching programs was about 7 minutes or so!

After 2 hours, guide info was still loading. Reset and all's well.

I had a 322 that would download the program guide every 5 minutes... A check switch fixed that issue...
