New software updates not coming to Genie.

The updates come from the satellites, not the internet.

that wont do you any good in the update is not on the carousel. It will get you what you already have

0x987 is still what is in the carousel. 0x9f6 is slowly rolling out.

0987 is the current National Release

For the HR44/700's i is 0x99C (Wed. 3/25, 2:47a). For the C31/700 clients' it is 0x76e.

There been three incomplete rollouts since 0x0987.

The current rollout is 0x09F6.

It is generally in the stream in the wee hours,

BTW, none have had new features. All have been UTH fixes.

No, these releases have happened over the last several weeks. They are being pushed but only to a few installations. So they appear in the national release download stream, but are then removed. Don't know why...

I posted 0987 because thats what the redh site said at the time, still does fwiw.

Yes, if you are installing a new DVR that's the release you will get. None of the releases since then have gone to a full national rollout.

These roll outs your waiting for .... if your on a CE, that roll out doesn't write over the CE does it ?

Ok, thats what I thought ... however, the CE's are usually in a way different version category.

For example, the NR is 0987, the release that was mentioned earlier that got released in areas was 9f6 while the CE is a42
