New software upgrade from 119

Hi, i have a 40 inch satellite mounted to receive the programming from 118.7 W

The problem is that the receiver dp311 need to be upgraded to the new software p438 which because am using (CB2008 lnb) the FTA lnb, the receiver only see it as 118 not 119.

i called dish network customers service and they told me i need to replace the current lnb to 119 so i can download the new software.

They ask me also to replace it with dish network lnb 118/119 (dish 1000) which is expensive.

my question is can i download the software from 110??? Or because i watch international programmes on 118 i need to download it from 119??!!!!!

What am trying to do is having (118 circular and universal lnb) and (110 circular lnb) on a bracket.

The receiver is dp311

please help help help

That lnb wont work for 119 with a 311 get a separate el cheopo 18" or dish500 for 110/119
You can download from 61.5 or 148 if you have access to them also.

Thanks allot for the help, just to confirm, if i pointed a dish or circular LNB to 110 i can downlowad the new software right ??

and what do you mean by access ???

beacause what am tryin to do is to have only one dish with two lnb one of them 118 which what i have now its working great, but no software upgrade.
