New to DISH -- NOOBIE ???

I have just signed up for a small dish network package and I have been reading here and there about FTA receivers and programming -- can I get these channels as well --

I was looking at a viewsat 2000 it is supposed to be the best as far as future upgrades -- can you help -- can I use both and what should I do?

If you are asking can you use an FTA receiver to get Dish Network service, the answer is NO. It's ILLEGAL. If you are asking if you can use a Dish Network Dish to receive other FTA signals, the answer is probably not. It's much easier to use a seperate dish made for that purpose.
