You are correct.
There may be a thread stating that there is No CE tonight, if that were the case.

There have been a few weeks with out CE's from time to time, but generally theres one every week.

My box has turned off a few times. I'm now getting a no signal on my TV. Is this normal? I'm not sure if I should try powering it on or just leave it alone.

Are you doing a CE software update now ?

If so, yes this is normal, most of them take about 20 minutes.
