I am new to this forum as well as to satellite tv (ST). I've always been a customer to either Comcast or Cox cable tv (CT). So my questions are:
1) What are the advantages/disadvantages of ST of CT?
2) How good of a deal can I get with ST over CT?
3) Can the deals be just as good as bargaining for the best cell phone plans between Sprint and Verizon? In other words, will ST customer service reps bend over backwards to sign up a new customer or resign up a current customer?
4) Who's better? Direct TV or Dish Network?
5) Do either providers give monthly discounts or loyalty discounts to keep the customer from going to another provider?
