What is the newest HD DVR upgrade for existing customers? I currently have the VIP211 and ready to replace it with one of the HD DVR receivers. It seems like if I called Dish 10 times, I would get 10 different answers. I currently have the Top 250 plus HD plus locals. Last question. Do they charge a DVR fee or does it matter which package you have?

As far as packages and fees, what you want to do is change your package to "DVR Advantage" which includes the DVR fee.
IIRC, it is:
$50 including AT200, Locals, DVR Fee and First Leased Receiver Fee, all included
+ $10 extra for AT250
+ $20 extra for Dish-HD
and as a bonus, any Premium Movie Package is $10 per month each (including HBO).
