The Lions on Saturday announced head coach Matt Patricia and general manager Bob Quinn have been relieved of their duties. Patricia's record was 13-29-1 since taking over as the Lions coach in 2018.

What happened to Week 18? If they ever needed to implement a Week 18 it's clearly now. Did the NFL abandon this idea already??

It looks like they're saving it as a last resort.


Teams could only play one game in week 18, so they kinda still have to play musical chairs during the existing 17 weeks for now.....
