For those who didn't notice this games mentioned elsewhere, Verizon Fios will be producing and broadcasting the first NFL Football game in HD 3d.

Comments about broadcast

The audio, particularly during pre-game was unreliable.

In terms of 3d the game looked very good. I did notice that the traditional shot, captured from moderately above the field, was not very effective. This kind of shot is what was shown mostly on the 2d stations. Fortunately someone must have known this and relied mostly on much lower or field level shots which all looked very good.

Fios 1 also spent some money on a 3d ad, that was well done.

All in all I see real potential for Football coverage in 3d.
