NFL Redzone qurstion

I live in Hawaii and get the NFL Network in both HD and SD. Do I have to subscribe to NFL Redzone? I thought it was free. A few weeks ago it was showing me the redzone plays of the first games then for the later games it said it was a paid subscription. Now it doesn't even let me see the first game redzone plays. Thanks

It was a Preview for one day for half the games a few weeks ago. its 5.99 per month
