NFL Thanksgiving in 4K

FOX has just confirmed that the Packers vs Lions game on Thanksgiving Day will be available in 4K.

Confirmation has not been made by Directv, but we typically would expect it to appear on Directv channel 105.

• Green Bay Packers vs. Detroit Lions: 12:30 p.m. ET on FOX
• Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys: 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS
• Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens: 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC

No having to bounce around from one app to OTA to Cable to Sat to ...
(Granted in alot of peoples homes now, this still requires Multiple Apps)

Tubi is also streaming it online for free at Tubi is the largest free movie and TV streaming service in the US. We are not available in Europe due to changes in EU laws. Sadly it is still just FOX's upconverted 1080p though- not real 4K :-(

I'm confused by your comment. The Turkey Day games are always on local TV (verified by looking at last 6 years of games and listings). The Friday game is on Amazon though

Whats Confusing about it, I pointed out you could watch thanksgiving day games OTA instead of having to jump around and make sure you have various different Apps.

You are being gullible if you think that Streaming apps won't be doing the games on Turkey day in the future ... They already are really, Paramount + and Peacock have them this year ... how long till the OTA side is told that they are not available on thier side and are on Apps only ?

The original post was about a specific game being in 4K on the streaming app. You're not getting the faux 4K feed OTA.

Well when that ship crosses we'll deal with it. I'm not gullible. I don't care if something is streaming or not. If it is and I dont sub to it, I really don't care if I miss it. Of course Peacock and Paramount+ are carrying the game since they are the streaming option for CBS & NBC.
