Let's hope this week is better than last.

I echo Ramy's sentiments about last week. I was P-U-T-R-I-D, and I thought going in that only BAL-MIN and NYG-NO (of course, I picked BOTH those wrong ) were toss-ups. :o

IMO, THIS week, at least on paper has more toss-ups!

IND @ STL ...........easiest call on the board
NE @ TB
GB @ CLE
MIN @ PIT .......tough call
SF @ HOU ............tough call
SD @ KC
BUF @ CAR
NYJ @ OAK
ATL @ DAL .......tough call
NO @ MIA ..........tough call
CHI @ CIN ........IMO, the toughest call on the board

BILL I hope you're right about miami! that would be a bigger win than the jets game.

Rey,

I think this is a perfect set up for the Saints to lose their first game.

1. The Dolphins could play ball control with Brown and Williams (of course, IF they fall behind early it could be disasterous)

2. The Saints are playing a very physical team on natural turf, so maybe the Dolphins will slow them down

Just a hunch..........

those are valid points bill.

Nostradumbass predicts:

Indianapolis @ St. Louis - Lock of the week

New England
@ Tampa Bay - Even TB don't think they can win this one.

Green Bay
@ Cleveland - Another snoozefest

Minnesota @ Pittsburgh - Minnesota's defense is suspect

San Francisco @ Houston - Starting to show signs of life in Houston

San Diego @ Kansas City - SD has to win this week, or kiss the playoffs goodbye

Buffalo @ Carolina - Only because they're at home. Hmmm, I think I said that last week or the week before...

New York Jets
@ Oakland - Last week's victory over Phili was a fluke. Jets need to right the ship

Atlanta @ Dallas - Dallas is a pretender

New Orleans @ Miami - The Brees blows into town, it will feel like a hurricane

Chicago @ Cincinnati- Cinci has become my new Jacksonville - can't get them right

Arizona @ New York Football Giants - Somebody has to pay for that ass whipping they took last week.

Philadelphia @ Washington - See my notes for the Giants

Detroit @ Bye- Detroit even loses on the bye week. Commissioner Goodell promises a thorough investigation into how this could happen.

Last week 9-5. Don't know what my season numbers are anymore. Need to look them up from week 1 and out.

Colts over Rams- Good offense + bad defense = LOL

Patriots over Buccaneers- It doesn't matter where the game is played- Tampa Bay has no defense.

Packers over Browns- I have Green Bay's D on my fantasy team- DON'T SCREW THIS ONE UP!

Steelers over Vikings- Favre is walking into a lion's den, unlike their first three road games.

Texans over 49ers- San Fran's defense was shredded by Matt Ryan; Schaub has to be licking his chops.

Chargers over Chiefs- This'll be closer than you think, due to San Diego's leaky D.

Panthers over Bills- Buffalo got lucky last week; unless Delhomme reenacts Sanchez's performance, this won't be close.

Jets over Raiders- The Salsa/Sandra Bowl; battle of the trash-talkers.

Cowboys over Falcons- Atlanta's offensive line hasn't been tested yet.

Saints over Dolphins- New Orleans can stop the run; this is make-or-break for the Wildcat.

Bengals over Bears- Cedric Benson REALLY wants to play well in this one.

Giants over Cardinals- I think this could be a fun shootout.

Eagles over Redskins- Philly HAS to win this game if they want to prove they're an NFC contender and not a paper tiger.
