Nick Mangold, a former New York Jets player, has died at age 41, weeks after he asked the NFL fanbase for a kidney. The former athlete died due to complications of kidney disease on Saturday, Oct. 25.

I have a feeling he didn't reach out till Late ... probably to late, in his case.

He was diagnosed with issues back in '06 (not that he needed a kidney back then)
