I thought I'd share how to record San Jose Sharks games easily using Dish Pass for Sharks fans out there, and other teams can try similar methods. To record the SJ feed of Sharks games for Center Ice subscribers, last season I just created a Dish Pass that searched for "SJ" in the title. That seemed to do it (except for certain VS games and such). This year, some random jewelry show pops up with it, making it quite a hassle. I've figured out that if you put a space before SJ on Dish Pass (looks like " SJ"), then it will only get Sharks games. One other hangup is that for some reason the Dish Pass records the SD feed and skips the HD feed (I have HD) based upon priority, even though I have Dish Pass set up to prefer HD (See Resolution Preference within Dish Pass). To get around this, I instead created two Dish Passes, one set up as " SJ" (with the space I mentioned) but set to HD Only in the Resolution, and the other set up as " SJ" (still with the space) but set to SD. On my DVR priority I just make sure the HD Dish Pass is higher. You might still have to tweak things as time goes on, but this is a good way to not record the "Coming Up" portion in front of the game. Any NHL network, NBC games, or VS games are another story for a different day. Other teams fans could try " BOS" for Boston or whatever is normally in the title. I'm curious if anyone else has any good ideas on this. Hope I helped someone out there. Go Sharks!

Also, as a followup, I believe that you can put a space after the Dish Pass description to limit your search results. In the Boston Bruins example I gave above, I believe " BOS" will still return anything with the word "Boston" in it, but I think that " BOS " with spaces before and after won't. Hope that works, I haven't tested it yet.
