Have been enjoying the slow burn sci-fi show. It's kind of like Outer Range mixed with Cocoon. Anything with J.K. Simmons and Sissy Spacek is worth the watch

I was more curious to see what this was about than to start the new season of The Boys. Through three episodes I'm hooked. Yes, the first episode was a bit of a slow burn, but it really picks up from there once the show zooms out to incorporate new characters.
I finished episode 8 last night and was fairly satisfied with the way the show went. Is this the end of season 1?
Canceled or not, I did not consider it a waste of time. I thoroughly enjoyed it...more so than some of the "hits" of late.
