No Audio on PBS AMC3

Several of my PBS channels on AMC3 have no audio. i have 52% quality signal. I have a Traxis DVB 2500. Other AMC3 channels have audio. Any suggestions?

The PBS stations have AC-3 audio output. Need a receiver that will support that

The traxis doesnt...neither does my Pansat 1500

The Pansat 2500 and Fortec do

The Traxis 2500 does not have an AC3 output? If you want the AC3 audio you need to upgrade to a Fortec / Pansat or any receiver with an AC3 output, then you will have to plug it into a AC3 stereo/receiver, a lot of the new cheapo surround sound systems have AC3.

AC3 and blind scan are the must-have items on my next receiver. This is what happens when I decide to go el cheapo.

I just got the el cheapo twinhan 1020a (also called Vision Plus) DVB-S PCI computer card myself.
Waitng on a 90cm dish to arrive for testing.

just a note that this card has AC3 support for those PBS channels
not sure about the blind scanning feature dont think so.

I know that card doesnt have the blind scan capability

No existing DVB card has hardware-based blind scan. I've read there were some software implementations of blind scan, but due to the extremely low speed they were practically unusable.
On the other hand, every DVB card is by definition HDTV and DVR (and HDTV-DVR) with AC3 and 4:2:2 support
