I'm keeping my basic cable (due to it costing more to disconnect than to keep (high-speed Internet cost would go up $25 if I didn't have ANY cable signal)).
I connected my cable feed to the back of my two 322 receivers (via a splitter), and am able to view cable on the two primary televisions when switching back and forth using the TV / video button on the remote.
However, I am don't know how to view the cable signal on the remote televisions. One remote TV2 is set to ch 22 for remote viewing of satellite, and the other to 101.
I DO NOT have an in-wall home cable distribution system (as described on page 32 of the 322 manual). All my cables are coming from the dish / DP34 under the house, up through the floor to the ports on the back of the 322 receivers, and back down from receivers, and on to the remote televisions up through the floor.
Is it possible to view cable reception on TV2, or is it just for TV1?
Can anyone explain how to do this for TV2?
The diagram in the manual shows a picture of some TV Distribution Equipment, of which I don't have (unless it is just describing a splitter, of which I have a few dual splitters). I don't really mind running more cable (I've been doing it for the past few days), but I don't know about adding much more equipment.
Expertise appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Please provide explicit instructions with equipment needed, if necessary.
