No dish 1000 setting on vip 622. Help.

I want to upgrade from my dish 500 to a dish 1000, but on my VIP622 there's only 300, 500 and dish pro settings. Should I use dish pro? Thanks.

Don't worry 'bout what the 622 shows. The point dish screen has never been updated to show the current dishes.

If you have your heart set on self-installing, use Satellite Finder / Dish Pointing Calculator with Google Maps | DishPointer.com.

Under satellite, make sure you choose the appropriate multi-satellite dish.

DishPOinter is AWESOME!

I wish I would have known about it earlier today. I had the same dilema but I used the Dish 500 settings to get 110 on a 211 reciever with a DP Plus dish.

I will use this site to further tweak my settings.
