I live in Beaverton, Oregon, which is in Washington County, which was supplied with FIOS this past year..........BUT.......NOT in ALL of the County as was originally touted by Verizon Advertising......I live in a small Mobile Home Park which is in kind of central Beaverton.
Every time I have typed my Verizon Phone # in their FIOS sign up forum on their website......it tells me that FIOS is NOT available where I live. I have even called them and they offer me DIRECTV and NOT FIOS.
I wonder WHY they are not installing their Fiber Optic Cable in my area.....the Park is surrounded by apartment Houses which appear to mainly use SAT Dishes.
I had hoped to switch to FIOS from Cable....BUT....looks like I am SOOL!
