No HD in FOX KTXL Sacramento

Do you guys know why Fox KTXL in Sacramento does not carry HD. Sorry if this has been posted before. Thanks

The holdup is with the parent company - Tribune. They haven't come to an agreement to carry any of their stations in HD. Possibly soon though.

I have a friend up in that area and even their cable system doesn't car Fox 40 in HD.

That is incorrect. KTXL-40 is carried in HD for both cable systems in Sacramento. Comcast and Surewest. Take it from a person who DOES live in the area.

although no Fox, supposedlythey offer the CW in HD for the Sacramento area (based on their web site). I can't verify that as I don' t have the mpeg4 receiver.
