Arizona's Doug Davis had a perfect game thru 6 innings....Baseball tonight midnight edition comes on and announces "Perfect Game Alert".
What happens in the next inning, loses the perfect game and the no-hitter.

Now that would have been quite a story. Imagine two no-hitters in 2008, both thrown by cancer survivors (Jon Lester and Davis).
Jason, if I'm not mistaken, this is the second time you started a similar thread announcing a no hitter this season, only to be spoiled moments after you posted it.
The unwritten rule applies to forum goers too!

Some traditions are just plain silly and the tradition of not talking about a no hiter in progress is one of them. But I still think that we should respect it.
