No locals in HD

ok...so i cannot get my locals in hd.....

Can i get the regular distance network stuff i.e. new york?
Or since i subscribe to locals can i only get the local network stuff?


sigh....

Anybody in woodland park, CO experience the same stuff?

Most of NY is spot beamed. You could get six sd channels. You would not get any HD channels.

Currently, there are a number of large market DMAs in HD on 129 CONUS beams. Over the next month that is likely to change so that those markets are moved to spotbeams. A number of people have speculated that E* might leave the Denver DMA on a CONUS beam. It's a huge DMA not as easily covered by a spotbeam compared too others. So "moving" to Denver might be your best bet until your CS DMA is lit up in the near future.

Or even "move" to Salt Lake City, there currently conus on 129.
