Ok. I'm new here and I'm posting this because hours of searching forums and webpages led me nowhere, so please be kind. I just had Dish Network installed this past Friday. One of the main reasons I finally signed up was to get Speed TV in HD. I noticed shortly after setting up the dish that I could not pick up some HD channels or VOD PPV channels on 61.5W TP 28 and 72W TP 28 respectively. I have a Dish 1000.4, the TurboHD dish with mulitple LNBs, and the VIP 211 Solo receiver. I set up the dish myself using www.dishponter.com to start and then honed in on the signals by trial and error using the receiver's signal meter. I'm located in zip 29673 and the dish is installed on the 2nd story dormer roof apex on the front of my house. I am surrounded by 80 to 100 ft trees, but the line of sight from my dish is not obstructed when eyeing it from the LNB arm(elevation is about 43 degrees; azimuth ~170; skew ~76). The mount is plumb and I'm getting average 50 to 56 signal levels on all 3 satellites. Any idea why can't I pick up the TP 28s on either 61.5W or 72W? Here's the signals on the transponders on each satellite:

Sorry for all the info, but I'd like to get this problem resolved.

Thanks.

DISH has had satellite trouble today so they have been shuffling channels around all day on the Eastern Arc.

Worry not. Things should work themself out over the next 24 hours. :)

No issues started this morning around 7 am.

I would wait a day until this is sorted out then call for a service call. (They are not going to roll trucks while this satellite issue is going on)

They WILL get you taken care of. :)

I'll wait it out for now. However, I prefer to fix this issue myself. I had to move the dish after the installer placed it in a bad location. 77W wasn't receiving well, and he didn't even bother to make sure the mount was plumb before installing. Seemed like it was a rush job. Installer didn't even check to make sure all channels/transponders were up an running. Hopefully someone here can give me more techincal insight as to what may be wrong. Thanks.
