I have not really kept up with mpeg 4 HD locals on Dish, but have these been announced at all?

Problem is we watch a LOT of local programming in the fall/spring, and with a move to Norfolk in Jan, this could be an issue for me. Ill be renting a house and if setting up OTA isnt feasible, I may have to look at another provider for the WAF.

She's had HD for over 2 years now and only has 2 requirements, she can watch most of her football in HD and can watch shows like Lost and the CSI's in HD.

Thanks for any input.

I wouldn't count on too many, if any, MPEG4 locals being available in a few months, let alone a mid-size market like Norfolk. New York, LA, etc, maybe....

Make sure your rental options are OTA friendly as well as dish friendly !

Norfolk was in the newest list, but as you said, I dont see it happening in the next 6 mo's.
