On way to my own doc appt this morning, got call from wife. She's taking son to ER with breathing difficulties. Needed phone number to Oncologist. While talking with her on BT headset, was able to access contacts and read it to her. She also needed phone number to surgeon, which I did not have. So again while talking via BT, was able to surf (safari) doctor's name, got ofc ph # and gave it to her. All done quickly. Would have been MUCH slower to do on "just a cell.". ER got needed contacts and saved time.

She also used son's smartphone for alt route to ER due to traffic tie up.

And now, while waiting in ER, I can post from my iPhone.

How quickly a nicety becomes a necessity.

Long story. This is just one point of a long line. Admitted this time, prob just for a day.

But thank you for the concern.

Don't forget, only AT&T and Sprint 4G can do that currently (talk and use data at same time.)

That is on 3G Only, Edge is not Surf and Talk. LTE will do the same as well. In about that AT&T Iphone will be meaningless.

I have Verizon and the ability to talk and surf is not a big deal to me.

Navychop hope all is well with your son.

After today, talking and surfing at the same time are a BIG item.

Tks 4 the concern.

Procedure today went well. Home tomorrow. Probably have only 1 more operation than 2.

Passing a lot of time here w/iPhone. Worth more every day.
