Dish and nTelos are informing participants of a fixed LTE trial by the two companies that they'll be shuttering the effort as of December 1 -- at least in Virginia. Dish announced in May of 2013 that the company would be offering fixed LTE services in a new partnership with nTelos. At the time, the companies stated they'd be ultimately offering the service in Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Kentucky.

If anyone is mad about this, it's their own fault. Dish said right up front that it was subject to cancellation at any time, so there's no reason anyone with a brain should've subscribed to it in the first place!
