NVRAM reset. Can't get to "reformat HD".

Update: I finally got to the MEMORY DUMP screen but never got a prompt to reformat

I am trying to resolve hard drive failure code 311. On a 722K
I was able to do step 1.
(Menu-6-3-Info-Right-Left-TV/Video(or Input on some remotes)
to clear the NVRAM, then reboot it. )

now the remote no longer works. GOT IT WORKING.
Any suggestion what to do to get the remote going? I tyried the "system Wizard" from the remote and got a message that basically said the remote was not pointed at the box, etc.

You will have to re-program your remote address. It should have defaulted to address 1.

Sounds like you now have a door stop.
Yea. Diagnostics showed HD temperature had been up to 140 degrees. Nothing blocks the air flow.
I am going to add a 12v fan to suction the exhaust on the left side like someone posted at one time.
The new DIRT unit is fantastic.
Matt in Denver has a replacement unit on the way. I hope they keep this up. It is a real boost in customer service.
