I see that you are in the Lima, OH DMA. It appears that your closest CW is Ft Wayne, IN, not that far but a different DMA.

Dish Earth channel. I never watched it for more than a minute. I remember when I wanted to see the US lighted up at night but the glare from the sun made the earth look like a black ball with a halo around it.

Dish Earth was the best. Geek alert! I used to record solar eclipses visible in the Western Hemisphere and watch them on fast forward.

Not wanting to take the thread too far off topic, I never did that with Dish Earth. But, I have done that at my job for security reasons.

Yes I see that. The difference is that Cincinnati actually has a CW channel, 12.2 while Lima has none at all.

What about Toledo WTVG the CW is a sub channel. One of Lima's cable companies (TSC) gets their CW network from Dayton.

Cable rules are different than satellite rules.

I got so tired of trying to get Dish to add channels, I finally started to stream on the Roku/Fire TV, to get BBC World (HD) and CNN International (HD).

I hear ya. I am streaming about 9 news and weather channels already. I expect that to increase in the future.
