ok, I have an 811 and bought a vip211 - what do I tell CSR?

What steps to get the magic add so both work?

Add the 211 to the acct
Put DishHD Bronze on it to get all the hd channels? In the same phone call?

Will the 811 keep working?
 
Well, I have a 211 and two 811s. They all work, but the 211 will have to be authorized first. And, each will need it's own connection to the switch.

Hook up the 211, let it go through it's startup routine and software download, until the verification screen pops up. It will have the R and S numbers, and the Dish 800 number. Select the HD Tech Support option. The regular CSRs don't have a clue how to authorize the 211s.

Tech Support should be able to add HD Bronze to your account too.
