old dish network turbo hd satellite

I shut off my DN service right after they installed a new satellite and took the 2 that I had before down. The new satellite had a 3 point lnb on it. Would this dish be good for anything else? I think it was just pointing at the 110 and 119 satellites. They told me that they were no longer using the 61.5 for hd so that is why they switched me to a bigger dish. Would it be worth getting another LNB for this dish? I sent the other one back. I was also wondering if there is a way to use this with a motor to get other satellites.

I don't think the 1000.2 dish is big enough to pick up any fta signals.You need at least a 36inch dish and a liner lnb

I would say if fta is a hobby of yours to just purchase the right equipment.You will be much happier

Also note that Dish's DP and DPP lnb's will not work with FTA.
