Old ui looked cleaner to me

And I don't get why you quoted my post about not getting Bell Satellites in the south when you posted your other stuff
Bell satellites (the Canadian service) is 82W and 91W.
You won't get it. Bell moved the satellites further north. I can't get 91W Bell and I'm in southern Minnesota

That sucks. I wish they had better coverage

Here's my experiment I've been working on: 119 110 on an eastern arc on a plus and 61.5 on a 500 tied to ea. It works surprisingly
The only problem when I had a eastern arc and side sat dish for western arc I got problems with my locals and where they were coming off of what satellite. The eastern arc had lower numbers for my signal then the western arc. It caused problems. But you are not subscribing to any programming so it won't matter.

Quick question: since 148w is dead why is it still listed in the point dish screen on receivers including hoppers

Because DISH hasn't updated their signal screen on their receivers ,especially the older ones. They did change the hopper screen to show only two satellites now and two X s in the place of the sats no longer used. When they first did away with the use of say 129 sat on western arc, it would still try to connect to it and it took a while for the screen to complete a switch check.
